many of our students I think I have 90% of our students actually go to college half go to four-year college and 40% go to a u c and so I think our success rate is pretty good well from experience. that's what it at was influenced by something about Aviation and Steve-O in After High School I plan on going to a four-year University and double majoring in Psychology at either electrical or mechanical engineering to make my dreams become a reality I was in Mesa which is an engineering club freshman year can I plan on participating junior year and I'm also taking engineering class this year to expand my knowledge because hey I may not be there yet but I'm definitely closer than I was yesterday I think he has helped me with experience in using technology in game design class because we learn how to use different programs within the computer and exploring computer science as well we learn how to read JavaScript in this grade it helps me in engineering design because we used pltw program on the computer I've discovered my passion for engineering and literature through Miss Smith's class in 10th Grade and all the lot of after-school programs like Mesa and get engineering programs which allow me to build stuff like lighters and mouse traps in show me different types of physics one of the things that I love about our school here is how it brings our technology together I got a lot of discrete classes that are unique here we got animation we have you booked a Film Production via broadcast journalism and so many others that really forcing students to bring together writing skills to create a vision for using camera editing equipment sound equipment green screen back so many different things that really helped bring of projects going to meet him up other students I've had many great opportunities like having my audio story featured in case you're unable to make my own short dogs to attend get off from school I was also part of Fred Roberts photography Workshop where I was able to have one of my featured in the Lattimer Gallery in the near future I would like to work in the film industry as a producer or pursue photography in the future I hope to one day making the gum disease mixing sound and audio has always been fascinating to me I have created my own music using my computer software and I actually publish my own one of my me audio track on the KCRW website it's just a great way I think to convey ideas on screen to entertain other people and I have made various film projects throughout my life that's very through documentaries action and animation I also did a Russian animation project with Legos that are similar to our schools don't Festival that was also shown at USC one thing that we do here at USB K is our digital portfolios not many high school students we've been doing it for a couple years now the first time I did my digital portfolio with sophomore year when I did it I didn't seem like it was going to help me at all. It was just a website that was bragging about myself but now that I'm a senior and actually my junior year it helped me out a lot if the pages were on your way extracurricular activities work samples and how they can contact you one of the examples was when with the children hospital I talked to one of the main guy I emailed him I just emailed him the of my digital portfolio just that link got me the job on the spot and it was an amazing experience and was great is that's my digital portfolio with pictures and words and I just different little things it just shows person like your boss who you are and just a couple pages this girl is for me is one of the most amazing school I have my son attend since he's been here since Kinder I've always trusted the school because of the way they prepare students for college since the beginning of he's presently in 9th grade but the record that he has been showing me throughout his academic studies every subject is obviously present I when he goes home he's like you know straight on to his boss and not only that he incorporates me as a parent and so I have the opportunity to see what he's learning and how this is preparing another reason is we have 11 teachers and so students when they come here they get to know the teachers very well the teachers get to know the students very well unlike some schools that me and I was working at 1 p.m. they had about 2 50 teachers and so it's hard for students to really connect to all the teachers and so I think that's another benefit of the school I am very interested in becoming a law enforcement officer in order disco I have entered the LAPD Cadet program I have been in this program since June 2014 this program has taught me to be disciplined have integrity and Leadership skills I have also been trying to become a community emergency response remember this car and trade me for basic Disaster Response skills then after several classes I successfully graduated from this program for the young storytellers foundation and in this Pro some were able to Mentor young filmmakers a very fun experience because of the fact that I'm able to help out middle school students with their film and Mentor them just give him any advice that I can but it's also cool that out I'm also able to learn along with them there's many benefits that I can get out of it and I'm also doing good by helping someone with their phone and making sure that they do a great job show me DreamWorks is pretty cool cuz I never thought that I would get interested in animation until I got into the school so being able to go to such a studio like massive stereo like that was very very I like amazing it sort of got me like emotional I got emotional and motivated to further pursue an animation career bro you wack bro what do you mean
